1. To provide a cadre of teachers who are:

a) Qualified sensitive, insightful and committed

b) Responsive to the needs and aspirations of their students

c) Able to deliver both formal and informal curricula in order to develop teachers who display a high degree of linguistic, communicative and pedagogical competence in the Spanish and French Languages 

2. To offer training in Methodology to teachers currently in the field who do not have the benefit of formal training.

3. To foster critical inquiry through rigorous research practices.

4. To encourage and promote lifelong learning practices by keeping abreast of current trends in foreign language teaching.

5. To maintain and strengthen a collaborative relationship with our external partners
